2. Purpose and Mission statement

The purpose of the association is to encourage its members, through their activities, to adopt and cultivate the Old Charges of Freemasons, civic virtues, universal humanitarian and democratic ideals, as well as principles of friendship and tolerance, without religious, racial, national, or political prejudice.

The main activities of the association consist of actions aimed at fulfilling and protecting the common interests described above, in particular:

  1. Study of Freemasonry, its historical texts, traditions, and philosophy;
  2. Promotion of education for members and the public through the association’s own library or museum; support for museum and exhibition activities; support and organization of research and studies in the fields of history, philosophy, and related humanities, including publishing activities;
  3. Participation in public charitable activities;
  4. Contributing to the moral and spiritual development of Freemasons and the wider public by promoting and practicing the principles of humanity and peace;
  5. Establishing and maintaining relations with foreign Masonic organizations of similar focus and fostering connections between them and Freemasons in the Czech Republic;
  6. Protection and preservation of cultural heritage;
  7. Promotion of the cultivation of interpersonal relationships;
  8. Education, training, and awareness-raising activities for individuals residing in the Czech Republic, particularly members;
  9. Community development of members;
  10. Support of the social, cultural, and educational conditions of individuals residing in the Czech Republic, particularly members;
  11. Support for all forms of culture and education;
  12. Support for the preparation of analyses, reports, studies, and dissemination of information related to the above activities.
